Sensitivity Is Intelligence

I'm a bodyworker, an artist, and a researcher. The work looks different from the outside. Hands on a back, patterns on a page, code in a terminal, a room made quieter. Underneath, it's one practice: listening closely to how systems actually behave.

Nervous systems and neural networks both trace cycles. Rooms and bodies both carry tension you can feel before you can name. Mathematics, massage, and making art all reward the same quality of attention. Moving between them is how I learn.

Some nervous systems notice more: the hum of a room, the way a ceiling presses down or lifts, the difference between being touched and being met. This isn't a problem to fix. It's information worth listening to, and most of my work starts there.

Bodies

Somatic bodywork in Nicasio, California. Slow, attuned sessions for tension that won't release through force. House calls throughout Marin County. Read more →

Spaces

Environmental consulting for homes, studios, and sanctuaries that welcome sensitive nervous systems. Working with light, materials, acoustics, and proportion to make rooms that settle the body before a word is spoken. Read more →

Groups

Workshops and group sessions at the intersection of touch, attention, and nervous-system literacy. Embodied learning for people who want to become better listeners to themselves and each other. Read more →

Geometry & AI Research

Research into the geometry of dynamic systems: toruses, nested periodicity, and the trajectories neural networks trace through state space as they learn. The mathematics underneath the rest. Read more →

If any of this resonates, as a client, a collaborator, or a fellow pattern-noticer, I'd welcome a conversation.
